NP80-II
Feed the material into the baler, close the feed door – the baler indicates when the bale is ready. Built-in ejection of bale. A volume reduction of up to 95 %!
All balers have the same working method!
Installation
Power supply:
- Before start, make sure that the machine is stable and is leveled.
- The baler is connected to a 3-phase electrical outlet.
The fuse size varies with the size of the machine: 10-24 Ampere. - The fuse is to be of the delay action type. MCB: class D.
Check of electrical connection
- Connect the baler to the mains (see picture 1.1 – 1.2).
- Turn on the main breaker (I).
- Usually the white lamp for voltage lights up and the press is ready to use.
- If the lamp does not light up:
- Disconnect the baler from the mains
- Switch two of the phases (turn the white disc in the contacts pin plug by means of a screw driver, see picture)
- Reconnect the baler to the mains.
- When the main door and feed door are closed and the emergency stop is not activated, the white status lamp (between the buttons for start and stop) should light up.

Bale strapping
- The bale strapping rolls are to be found on the front of the baler. The bale strapping is used for holding the bale together, so that it will not fall apart.
- The bale strappings are on rolls and are pulled out after each new bale.
- Put the rolls inside the band strapping storage and pull the band in place
- Pull down the bale strapping from the rolls.
- Pull the bale strapping down along the back of the machine, behind the press ram and across the press floor (2).
- Secure the bale strapping at the front of the press base
3.1 Make a loop at the end of each strapping
3.2 Put the ends in the slots - Push the strappings back towards the opening at the rear of the chamber floor.
Close the door. If the press ram is not in its top position, push the start button. The ram will move up and the press is ready for use.Useful hint: A flat piece of cardboard at the bottom makes a better bale.
Pull the straps
Push the loop in the hole and then bring it aside
End by stretching the band. Push it in towards the opening at the rear of the chamber floor.
To feed the baler
NättrabyPressen usually has a hinged feed door on the center of the door.
This makes it possible to sort material with the door as a work table.
A manual press or a sack can conveniently be placed next to the baler press.
- Open the feed door - pull the lock handle downwards and then outwards (see Figure 1).
The door is balanced with a gas strut. - Cardboard is inserted into the chamber on the side or bottom up.
When the door closes, it helps to insert the last small boxes. - Use both hands to push the door again.
The machine will start automatically. - Larger boxes can be filled with smaller boxers before loading.
- The door can also be fully folded downwards.
This variant allows you to get closer to the machine, thus filling the entire chamber more easily. - The feed door can be configured as needed, preferably during service.
- Having the feed door downwards can be useful for certain types of fractions or at some location of the baler.
Loading the baler
Ready bale
When the bale is ready the blue lamp lights up.
This occurs at a predetermined level, which means that the bales become very similar in weight and size. This facilitates the bale handling.
- The blue lamp lights up and the press ram stops in its lower position, holding the baled material together under pressure.
- Door opening in three steps:
- Push the door lock handle and lift up the door lock hitch.
- Open the door with one hand against the door and one hand on the handle.
- Undo the safety catch and open the door more than 90°.
- By pulling the bale strapping down from the storage, the pulling of the band through the press ram becomes easier.
- Pull the bale strapping through the press ram.
- Cut off the strapping at a length so that they can reach the loop at the bottom. Release the loop, tighten and tie the ends together.
- Clean the press ram from remains of paper or plastic.
Ready bale
Release the loop from the bottom, thread the strapping through the loop. Tighten and tie properly.
Bale Ejection
- Place a pallet or a pallet truck in front of the baler.
The door can be opened 180°. - Eject the bale.
- Make sure that the door is wide open, more than 90°.
Also that the ejection push-rod on the press ram is in its front position. - Stand in operator area to supervise the area in front of the baler.
- The start-button and the blue ready-bale-button are simultaneously pressed.
The press ram moves upwards as long as the buttons are depressed.
The press ram stops when it has reached its upper position. - Usually the bale falls out, otherwise it could need a small push.
- Make sure that the door is wide open, more than 90°.
- Reposition the bale strappings:
Make a loop and put it in the slot at the front. Push the strapping back towards the opening at the rear of the chamber floor.
Start with a flat piece of cardboard at the bottom.
Useful hint: the bale height can be adjusted – ask your technician at the annual service.

Transportation of Bale
The bale can be stacked for later collection.
As the bale can be transported on ordinary trailer, no special vehicle is required.
